Why is it called Food From Home?

All the volunteers who prepare Food From Home dishes consider MA Center as our spiritual home. All food is prepared fresh on Saturday mornings for same-day pick-up and delivery by the same kitchen crew who prepares food for Amma’s events as well as weekly satsangs throughout the year.

Will Food From Home continue now that the ashram has reopened?

Yes! Despite many hardships, we are grateful for the ways the pandemic
inspired us to be creative in finding ways to stay connected to and reach out to the community. We plan to continue offering Food From Home indefinitely.
